About UsWhat is the Women’s Regional Business Council? The Women’s Regional Business Council (WRBC) is a unique non-profit membership group comprised of exciting, enterprising and achieving professional women spanning a truly diverse spectrum of organizations located in Philadelphia and the greater Delaware Valley. We are committed to “inclusivity” and the members of the WRBC all work together to promote their professional and personal goals during networking at extraordinary monthly meetings/events led by inspiring and notable speakers, through mentoring programs among members, and by promoting noteworthy special events and advocacy efforts to serve diverse member interests. We also sponsor annual scholarship awards to deserving young women in the area. Unlike other professional organizations which may serve only industry-specific interests, the WRBC welcomes and draws its members, guests and sponsors from a wide network of professional women – representing a cross-section of major corporations and organizations from the region such as National Penn Bank, Blank Rome, The Philadelphia Youth Network, Wilmington Trust, The World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia, Temple University Fox School of Business, Verizon, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Wharton School of Business, Innovation Philadelphia, WorkPhilly, Stewart Title & Guaranty and Land America. Past speakers at WRBC events have included: Charisse Lillie – VP of Human Resources, Comcast Corporation; Dianah Neff – former CIO, the City of Philadelphia; Kay Ford – Senior Director, MBA Career Services at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business; Molly Shepard – Founder and CEO, Leader’s Edge; Susanna Foo – Chef, Restaurateur, Author; Wilhelmina Cole Holliday – Chair of the Board, National Museum of Women in the Arts; Blondell Reynolds Brown – Philadelphia City Council; Alycia Lane – CBS 3 Anchor; Janice Price – Former President & CEO, The Kimmel Center; and Sharon Pinkerson – Executive Director, Philadelphia Film Office.
